“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:”
The O'Briens came into the church in September, 1989, under the ministry of Bishop Howard Davis in San Bernardino, California. Brother O'Brien received his local license in 1996 and began preaching in the local churches. In 1998, he received his general license and continued preaching revivals and special services. In 2006, a door was opened in the city of Twentynine Palms, California for Brother and Sister O'Brien. They moved to Twentynine Palms and soon started the Apostolic Lighthouse Assembly.
Pastor and Sister O'Brien are guided by Christ and focused on living in obedience to Him. This is what they teach and how they live. They are grateful for the blessing of their daughter and son, Lucretia and David Jr., being a part of the Apostolic Lighthouse Assembly.
The O’Briens answered the call of God to fulfill the vision that He had given for the city of Twentynine Palms and the surrounding communities. The sacrificial giving of themselves in the service of God has yielded considerably as the Lord continues to bless their ministry with many people receiving the Holy Ghost and baptized in the precious name of Jesus. The members of the Apostolic Lighthouse Assembly are blessed to have this genuinely loving and caring Pastor and family.
